Awards for the Meritorious Students:

The AAGCC has taken significant strides in recognizing and rewarding academic excellence through its Excellence Awards programme. One notable achievement has been the establishment of endowment funds by our generous members. These funds have been deposited in banks and the interest earned is utilized to provide cash awards and merit certificates to deserving students.

The selection process for Excellence Awards is rigorous, ensuring that only the most outstanding students are recognized. A committee appointed by the college council carefully evaluates students’ academic performance and potential. The awards are presented to final-year students of all disciplnes. Besides we also encourage studens who excel in extra-curricular activities viz. Arts, Debate, Sports, NCC, NSS, etc.

In addition to the annual Excellence Awards, the AAGCC organize special events to honor distinguished alumni and faculties. One such event was the “musical remembrance day” held in collaboration with the Music Alumni Association to commemorate the late Mr. Manoj Krishnan. This event showcased the talent and dedication of our alumni and served as a fitting tribute to his legacy.

Support the Excellence Awards programme and help us recognize and reward the brightest minds at Chittur Government College. Your generous donations will enable us to expand the scope of these awards, provide higher monetary incentives and reach more deserving students.

The scholarships are funded by benevolent donors. Currently, the scholarship amount is Rs.2500. Association is making efforts to build up a corpus from donations from the like minded alumni to make the programme self sustainable.
